AHM and Gi

AHM have been steadily working their way around Gi exhibitions.

It kicked off with the opening of David Shrigley's exhibition at Kelvingrove Art Gallery.

Once again, David was mesmerised by Douglas Gordon's '24 Hour Psycho' at Tramway, and was hugely impressed by LAST MAN OUT TURN OFF LIGHTS installation by Christoph Büchel in Tramway 2.

David also visited Bellahouston Park to see Speedwork, the steel structure produced by Jackie Donachie for the Glasgow International Festival of Visual Art.

AHM will be attending the Maria Thereza Alves Friday Event titled 'urgent and not so urgent possibilities'

This will take place on Friday 23rd April at 11am in the Glasgow Film Theatre (Gft) on Rose Street.

Conversation with Jimmie Durham and Maria Thereza Alves postponed

Unfortunately AHM's conversation with Jimmie Durham and Maria Thereza Alves was postponed from today as Jimmie needed to do some last minute work on his exhibition at Glasgow Sculpture Studios. The conversation will take place in the near future, so keep your eyes peeled!

Lunch with Jimmie Durham and Maria Thereza Alves

After AHM 'did lunch' with the current Glasgow Sculpture Studios Production residents (as opposed to Research residents), it was confirmed that next week AHM will be having a recorded conversation with Jimmie Durham and Maria Thereza Alves.

The aim is for this conversation to be edited and then made available online.

AHM have an extensive line up of artists, curators, writers, political figures etc with whom they wish to record conversations with.
