ONLINE CONVERSATIONS

We are in the process of conducting and recording a series of CONVERSATIONS. These began with a group of younger artists exploring their lives as artists in Scotland today. Others have included curators and art historians/critical thinkers. We are planning to include several key Scots living and working abroad who have become eminent figures in the international art world in order to add their unique perspectives. As the CONVERSATIONS are uploaded onto the web we hope they will encourage and expand public critical debate about contemporary art in Scotland.

These online Conversations will also inform discussion papers for the first symposium in Glasgow in 2010, which in turn will be documented and broadcast in a variety of forms.
