Call For 'Individual Artist Manifestos' - Deadline 1st March

AHM (Sam Ainsley, David Harding and Sandy Moffat) are organising a series of three, one-day symposia with the overall title of, ‘State of Play – Art and Culture in Scotland Today’. The second of these will be at the Hawthornden Lecture Theatre - Weston Link, National Gallery Complex, Edinburgh on Saturday 2nd April 2011.
Keynote presentations will be given by eminent Scottish artists, critics and curators who live and work abroad including Douglas Gordon, Berlin, Peter Hill, Melbourne, Margaret Hunter, Berlin, Thomas Lawson, Los Angeles and Dr. Jim Mooney, London along with video presentations by among others Neal Ascherson, London and Liz Ann Macgregor, Sydney. These will be followed by in-depth discussion.

Following its success at the first symposium, a key element to start the day will be a spoken 'performance’ of ‘Individual Artist Manifestos’.
